Virgin Atlantic Peanut Policy

Does not serve peanuts on flights.

NUT POLICY
To help accommodate the needs of those passengers with peanut allergies Virgin Atlantic operates a Peanut Policy onboard its aircraft.

Peanuts are not knowingly included in Virgin Atlantic aircraft meals or snacks in any cabin.

However, please be aware that nuts other than peanuts may be served on all Virgin Atlantic flights as part of the menu ingredients and/or snack service in all cabins.

Whilst no peanuts or peanut derivatives will be used in the preparation of meals, meals will not be produced in a nut free environment and may therefore contain traces of nuts. In light of this, passengers may prefer to provide their own food.

Since we cannot prevent passengers from bringing onboard their own peanuts or food items containing peanut products, Virgin Atlantic cannot guarantee a peanut-free environment. Therefore Virgin Atlantic would strongly encourage passengers to take all necessary precautions to prepare for the possibility of exposure.

VAA will take all reasonable steps to avoid the provision, inclusion or sale of peanuts. More information on flying with allergen sensitivity is available from The Anaphylaxis Campaign and the International Air Transport Association (IATA)
